The USS Nimitz encounter (2004)
Imagine you’re a pilot, working as usual, flying through the sky, when you suddenly notice a curious shadow on the radar. And, as you try to understand what you’re seeing, you realize that the unknown craft is nothing but a UFO.
That’s what happened to the crew of the USS Nimitz on November 14, 2004. While the aircraft carrier was 100 miles off the coast of San Diego, two FA-18F fighter jets attempted to intercept the craft shown in this picture, but it accelerated away, moving three times the speed of sound.
