Freddie Mercury’s Halloween
Those who’ve seen Bohemian Rhapsody or are Queen fans know that Freddie Mercury threw the most talked-about parties in the rock and roll industry. One of them took place in an exclusive New Orleans hotel on Halloween 1978. The theme? Witchcraft.
Queen had just released their seventh studio album, Jazz, so Freddie wanted to celebrate by hiring snake charmers, nude waiters, and fire breathers. He even installed 50 trees to recreate a haunted forest! It was an event where anything was possible, and guests had no restrictions.
