In “The Interview,” journalists work for the CIA
The debate on how much influence journalists have over their audience is a controversial one. While some see readers/viewers as passive thinkers who can get easily influenced by whatever they read or hear, others argue that journalists talk to a critical audience, and there’s no influence at all.

Still, nobody would dare say that journalists are powerful enough to be tasked with an international CIA mission. Believe it or not, this is the plot of The Interview, a comedy film starring James Franco and Seth Rogen. In the movie, two journalists are hired to kill North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-Un.
