Hitler gets killed in “Inglorious Basterds”

Last but not least, this Quentin Tarantino classic presents us with two plots to assassinate Nazi Germany’s leader: one from a young Jewish cinema proprietor and the other by the British. But the group that ends up fulfilling this difficult task is a team of Jewish American soldiers, the Basterds.

Fun fact: Tarantino wrote the script in 1998, more than ten years before the film was released. He didn’t feel confident with the ending, so he continued working on his next projects, Kill Bill and Death Poof. It’s safe to say that the wait was worth it!
