In September 1959, 24-year-old Elvis met Priscilla at a party at his rented home in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Mesmerized by Priscilla’s beauty, the rockstar described his behavior as that of an “awkward and embarrassed” boy. Eight years later, they tied the knot in Las Vegas.
Interestingly, the intimate ceremony lasted only eight minutes! Only a handful of guests were present at the Aladdin Hotel, with Priscilla’s youngest sister serving as the maid of honor. The wedding was one of the most talked-about affairs of the 20th century!
